A table that folds in on itself. When it opens, or exhales, it expands for greater surface area and display. Inhalation brings the parts to a closed nesting position. The frame is detailed to express its structure and function. In the closed position, the frame elements are aligned vertically on the closed side, and are offset on the opening side to express their handle function. The central pivot elements are proportioned to express their role.
