A renovation design study of a space designed for multiple functions. The program includes an extra family room, an office and an additional bedroom. By incorporating sliding partitions that provide privacy and separate zones, the overall space can be transformed into a private office space or the family room can be transformed into a private bedroom space that connects with a private bathroom.

Custom casework unifies the overall space and a murphy bed allows the transformation to a bedroom. Opportunities for art display are incorporated. The relationship to exterior gardens is enhanced by the increased glass door and wall areas.
