The project is three accessory buildings that would incorporate spaces for creative work. Spaces are to accomodate a writing space, painting area with slding pocket walls, a fabrication area for welding, woodworking and assembly, an office, and an art restoration / framing studio.

Shared Space is the organizing framework for the design. Local planning codes restricted the size and placement of the structures. By aligning the three maximum size structures and placing them the required minimum distance between, a larger shared space is created and utilized when the aligned pocket doors all open.

The structures are sited in a large wooded area cut into the existing slope. Exterior materials are cedar siding, pine wood interiors with exposed concrete and steel, radiant concrete slab heating, passive cooling and photo voltaic power.
